ASC Chair and Vice Chair Elections 2017-2019 Term

X12's Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) will conduct elections for the offices of ASC Chair and Vice Chair on September 25, 2017 in Pittsburgh PA. The two-year term of service (October 2017 to September 2019) for each office will begin on October 4, 2017.

Applications are being accepted via this Online Application, the deadline for submitting an application is 5:00 PM Eastern on July 21, 2017. All submitted applications will be vetted based on X12's applicable policies and procedures.

Candidates must be a named representative of an X12 member at the time of application and on the date of the election. Only one candidate may apply per X12 membership. Candidates should have sufficient ASC experience to show an understanding of the organizational, political, and technical aspects of the committee.

The ASC Chair and Vice Chair offices carry great responsibility. It is essential that X12 member representatives who apply for consideration and their associated X12 member organization recognize that holding the offices will require a considerable amount of time and may include additional travel expense.
