UN/EDIFACT Data Maintenance Request Forms
According to the new DMR processing procedures
-
The requirement for a New Message Request (NMR) as the first
step in the message development process has been eliminated. The
NMR allowed developers to declare a request for joint development, but
realistically provided no added value and delayed the message development
cycle.
-
A single DMR is permitted to contain the entire content of
all related directory changes, including a UNSM and its associated data
maintenance
-
All code additions/changes for a single data element, which
are not part of a UNSM, may now be submitted on a single DMR.
Since the interchange of all data maintenance information
between the Entry Point and the UN Central Secretariat is planned via the
DMRDEF and DMSTAT messages, new DMR forms are offered below. The
forms identify the necessary data required from the submitter, depending
upon the nature of the data maintenance, in order for the Entry Point to
have all the information required to accurately complete the DMRDEF. Submit
completed forms to the X12/DISA EP, c/o Daniela
Bilbro
DMR Status Information
The UN/ECE Web Site lists DMR statuses both in UN
log number sequence or regional
log number sequence. Archived DMR statuses are available sequenced
by UN
log number or regional
log number.
